"A life Worth Living"
What is Alpha 2?
Alpha 2 is designed as a follow-up course to Alpha and is intended to help individuals grow as Christians and to get involved in the life of the church.
Three important aims of the course are:- To make friends and to experience the value of small groups
- To see how Christianity relates to daily living
- To get to know the Bible better
Who is Alpha 2 for?
Alpha 2 is for all those who have completed Alpha at Trailview Alliance Church or elsewhere and who want to grow as Christians.
Which topics are covered?
There is a series of talks on the topic of "A life Worth living" which is based on the book of Phillipians in the Bible. Sessions include:
- A New Heart
- A New Purpose
- New Friendships
- New Confidence
- New Resources
What is Involved?
Each evening begins with supper from 6:30 pm and follows with a talk on video by Nicky Gambel. After coffee, we meet in small groups to ask questions and to discuss the issues raised. We finish each evening by 9:15 pm.
We will also include a Weekend Away as part of the course. Dates and topic to be announced.
How much will it cost?
There is no charge for Alpha 2 although a small contribution is requested for the meal each evening and for the food and materials used on the Alpha 2 Weekend Away.
