When you put your faith in Jesus, you became part of God’s family. God also wants you to belong to a local church family here on earth, a community where you are known, cared for and invited to grow. You are welcome at Trailview whether or not you ever become a member. Membership is simply how we say “this is my home,” and commit to walking with this family as we follow Jesus together.

Belonging
Membership names the family you call home, and every new member is a reason for that family to celebrate.
Growth
Spiritual growth happens best in relationships of trust, where we encourage one another and are accountable to one another.
Contribution
God has given you gifts that build up His church. Members serve alongside others and partner together to share the love of Jesus in Swift Current and around the world.
Voice
As an Alliance church, our members gather to elect elders and help guide the direction of the church family.
Exploring Membership
The first step is our Exploring Membership class. It’s an introduction to who we are as a church: our mission to Encounter Jesus, Live Authentically and Share His Love, what we believe as part of The Christian and Missionary Alliance, how our church is led, and what it means to belong to this family. It’s also a great place to bring your questions.
Who Can Become a Member?
Membership at Trailview is open to anyone who:
- completes the Exploring Membership class
- has placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord
- has been baptized as a believer (we practise baptism by immersion, and we gladly welcome believers baptized in other ways)
- is willing to embrace our membership covenant
- is not a member of another church
- completes a membership application
